About

I’ve been a keen cyclist since my teens and initially learned bicycle repair at my weekend and summer job at JRD Equipment in Ellon whilst I studied at university.

I earned a Masters degree in Physics and went on to become a research scientist and engineer for the UK Ministry of Defence, and spent over twelve years delivering world-leading technology for the British Armed Forces.

I now have over 25 years experience of repairing thousands of bicycles, and constantly keep up to date with the latest technology via industry tutorials.

I can often be found running errands on my Marin hybrid, out on a long ride on my Cannondale Synapse roadie, going up and down hills on my Whyte 901 MTB and occasionally doing the odd duathlon or time-trial on my Ribble TT bike.
